BROWNING, A-Bolt II Composite Stalker Centerfire Rifle, 300 Winchester
Short Magnum, 23" Blued Barrel, Black Synthetic Stock, Boss.
Thin-bodied, improved bolt to reduce binding and friction. Three
secure locking lugs. Short 60 degree bolt throw. Plunger type ejector.
Recessed bolt face.

ACTION: Bolt-Action.
BOLT TYPE: Anti-bind bolt. Non-rotating bolt sleeve that runs the
entire length of the bolt. When unlocked, three guide
ribs on the bolt sleeve align with the three locking
lugs to allow the bolt to slide smoothly. When locked
these three lugs provide massive bolt strength.
SIGHTS: None.
RECEIVER: Matte metal blued. Drilled and tapped for scope
mounts.
SAFETY: Top-tang safety, thumb operated. The shooter can see
by the cocking indicator the immediate status of the
rifle (cocked or uncocked).
BARREL: Matte metal blued free floating, glass bedded at the
recoil lug.

By JH, Loyal Customer On 11/13/2008 Right out of the box with excellent fit and finish. Put on a scope and sighted in at 25 yards. Started banging 8" gongs at 200 yards. To finish off the 1st 40 rounds, I fired 3 rounds at 100 yards and got a .435" group.
Felt recoil seems no more than my .308. also in Composite Stalker.
Absolutely a great rifle!
