Guaranteed accuracy. All metalwork is matte black, with a 24" barreled
action bed to a Monte Carlo, injection-molded composite stock. A fully
adjustable trigger lets you achieve the most accuracy potential from
your Vanguard.

aThe Vanguard action incorporates many of the most popular features of
the Weatherby Mark V. It features a one piece fluted bolt with three
gas ports and two locking lugs for a 90-degree bolt lift. The bolt
shroud is fully enclosed for extra strength and structural integrity,
and features a traditional side release of the bolt assembly.
Embellishments such as a knurled bolt knob add to the beauty and value
of this popular rifle. The bottom metal features lightweight alloy
construction with the floorplate release located on the outside of the
trigger guard for easy access. The Vanguard also carries a Weatherby
standard cocking indicator for an additional measure of safety.
Available in both magnum and standard chamberings, the Vanguard will
hold 3 cartridges + 1 in chamber (magnum models) or 5 cartridges + in
chamber (standard models). A fully adjustable trigger can be precisely
adjusted for let-off weight and sear engagement to match individual
preferences.
