BUSHMASTER, C15 Type 97 Pistol, #AZ-C15P97, 223 Remington, 7.25" stainless steel barrel, Hogue overmolded pistol grip Bushmaster Pistol Carbon 15 molded Upper Reveiver and Lower Receiver. Carbon 15 material has impressive durability and strength in relation to its ultra-light weight. In addition, it is completely weather and corrosion resistant.
The Type 21's stainless steel, match grade barrel and the Type 97's stainless steel, match grade barrel with fluting (eight, deep lengthwise grooves) are chambered for the 5.56mm NATO Cartridge but readily accepts the .223 Remington cartridge as well.
The Quick Detachable Compensator is fitted to reduce muzzle rise and felt recoil. It is easily removed by means of its spring loaded locking collar should the shooter wish to fire without recoil compensation.
The high quality steel bolt is machined for tight lockup and long wear,and the bolt carrier on the Type 21 is finished in maganese phosphate for protection gainst corrosion the Type 97 is Chrome plated for easy cleaning.
Firing controls are in standard AR15 layout, and for additional safety, the Safety Selector Lever markings are color-coded on both sides of the Lower Receiver to quickly determine the firing status of the pistol.
The Charging Handle is molded of Carbon Fiber, and captivated takedown pins allow Upper and Lower Receiver separation for easy cleaning and lubrication.
The Type 21 and 97 iron sights are a ghost ring type rear and a front sight blade is machined into the gas block. The gas tube is enclosed for strength and the enclosure is vented to aid in cooling.
Completely designed and manufactured in the U.S.A. Pistol is shipped with Operator's Manual, Warranty Card, and 10-Round Magazine.
